Home again, Home again...

Well we made it back! We had a great time in Billings for Thanksgiving and the few days after. The ride up to Billings was good, Jack didn't sleep much but movies kept him in good spirits. He did develop a bad cough on the ride up there and just as we pulled into Stace's sister's house he had a coughing fit and ended up throwing up a few times. Very upsetting! :( But with regular doses of Robitussin all weekend, he seems to be better.

There were about 35 people at our Thanksgiving dinner. Food was aplenty and everyone had a great time. I ended up being the life of the party by breaking a wooden chair and falling right on my tush in the middle of dinner! What a jolt to my tummy! My wrist hurt for a little while but there don't seem to be any lingering effects from the fall. Everyone was quite concerned about me though!

I was pretty nervous about my blood sugar levels while we were gone but I only had a few times in the past week that have been higher than my docs want. The good news is that I didn't even have any high numbers after Thanksgiving dinner! Yea!

So now it's time to focus on all the Christmas stuff there is to do! Cookie exchanges, parties, shopping, decorating....how to fit it all on the calendar in the next three weeks! I love this time of year, so it'll be fun.

It was so wonderful to see you guys. Jack is awesome and you are great parents. Can't wait to see the new little guy. Thanks for the inspiration on scrapbooking. I might become and addict so I'm trying to hold off on starting any projects until after Christmas! I'm off to the gym to lose the thanksgiving pies. Love you! Jill
