Christmas Blizzard

Well for the first time in I don't know how many years, we will have a VERY white Christmas! Today we finally got out and did some much needed errands but for the past two days (Wed and Thurs.) we just sat around looking at all the snow. Yesterday Stace was home (couldn't exactly go anywhere) and he and Jack played out in the almost 26 inches of snow that we have. I even scrapped a page to commemorate the day!

I made snow ice cream for the 1st time since I was probably 10 years old. Wow that stuff is good! Just a huge pile of snow (no yellow please), 1 can condensed milk, a splash of vanilla and a pinch of salt, mix together and you've got a great treat!

Our ventures out into the public today were fun at first but then I decided I just had to go to Costco. Yeah, I know....stupid. Even if there hadn't been a blizzard, going to Costco the Friday before Christmas would be crazy. It did not dissapoint...crazy psycho place...snow everywhere, people parking in the wierdest of places and long lines. But we survived, got our stuff and high tailed it out of there.

Here's some pictures of the snow:

I was actually at Sam's the day Christmas Eve. It was crazy, too! Looked for you at PB today. Would have been nice to see your shiny face, since it didn't make the pics on your blog! Tell Stace that he was write about the spacebar on my keyboard. Hope to see you guys soon.
