Fun in the sun

Tuesday was a banner day for us. We actually got to go outside and have a picnic in the park. We had a blast...it was almost 80 degrees, Jack got to feed the ducks at Clement Lake, I got some exercise by walking around the lake and Connor, well, he got some fresh air for the first time in his life! Now, I remember why Colorado is just the perfect place, I was in heaven soaking up the sun.

It is kinda wierd not having sick kids, I was so used to wiping noses and worrying about Connor turning blue that I forgot how much fun it can be to play with them (well, Connor doesn't play around too much, yet, you get the idea).

I have my follow up doctor's appointment tomorrow and a 2 hour glucose test. They want me to take the test just to make sure the gestational diabetes are all gone. I think it's gone but you never know. Let's pray for the best. While I'm there, my mom is taking the boys...let's pray for her too! Tomorrow I'm also going by Pottery Barn to give them my available hours...I can't wait to get out of the house for a few hours a week AND get my awesome discount back (40% can't beat that)!

Oh, to be barefoot playing in the park. That's the life! Hunter and Taylor have been having fun in the great weather too. It's so much better when the kids are healthy. I can tell Jack love being big brother. Hope your week is full of fun. Love-Nicole

Way to venture out with both the boys! I still don't like to do it alone. You didn't give us the update tonight on how your test went. How did it go?

Hooray for Pottery Barn discounts!!! You'll need it for your new house (you know, the one I'm praying for!)
