Cautiously Optimistic

If you've already read my husband's blog, you know the big news....our house is under contract. But I'm having a hard time getting all jazzed up about it because we've had buyers pull out of contracts before. So, until we're sitting at the closing table (which isn't until July 16th) I can't quite celebrate.

This is still a major answer to prayer. After a year (actually over a year) of having the house on and off the market, this contract feels good. We'll still be in limbo for awhile after we close on this house but I guess it's upward motion.

In other happenings...we took in a Rockies game on Friday night. It met my requirements of being warm weather and Jack had his own seat so we went :) Jack had a blast. We had the mile high row all to ourselves and Jack made it a point to meet all the people around us. The young couple at the end of the row and their family in the row in front were his first acquaintances. He had to high five EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM, more than once. Then he introduced himself to the old folks behind us and charmed every one of them! Here's a cute pic of all my boys in their baseball hats.

Wish we could have joined ya. Who needs a good home team when you've got nice weather and a seat for Jack?!

Congrats on the house contract. Embrace "The Secret" -- think positively. (I'm so kidding!)
