More Birthday Fun

Jack's birthday weekend (Thurs-Tues) has finally come to an end with our very first trip to Chuck E Cheese's. He had a great time with his tee ball set and big wheel on Saturday morning but probably the fav gift of the day were two free sets of western shoot-'em-up guns, complete with holsters and a sheriff's badge! Jack looked pretty cool! Our visit to White Fence Farm was fun as well. Jack got a carriage ride from "Sampson" who is supposedly the largest Belgium draft horse in the country at 2400 lbs and 19 hands high. He also enjoyed feeding the goats and sheep in the petting zoo. The weather was good and I got some good shots of Connor, Jack was much too busy on the 'digger' on the playground for any formal picture taking. Tonight's visit to Chuck E Cheese's was exciting with so much to see and do and even a visit from the big Cheese himself. I spent the day making individual car cakes for our party. They ended up being a pain in the rear but I had fun decorating them even if it took me way longer than expected! So, after all this partying, I'm beginning to think having a party for him would have been much less time intensive and probably cheaper than all this going out! Well....lesson learned!
